little voice is presented by la société de la petite voix, a group of artists whose aim is to collaboratively exhibit and sell work as a cooperative, with any profits being equally distributed between all artists to fund their ongoing fine-art photography studies.
We have found this approach inevitably awakens inspiration, intuition and enthusiasm within the group’s conscience. This conscience has kept us strong and united. We display individual styles and wish to carry a message that photography is truly alive in many forms.
Because of the economic circumstances that society finds itself in recent years and the absurdly high course fees that education establishments now have to charge, we have formed “la société de la petite voix”. We hope that the group can participate in something so beautiful that it is not just about what is made by camera. Most importantly it’s about what is within the photographer. We don’t want another art form to become exclusive: we’ll make it inclusive!”
