Rashida Mangera and Hady Bayoumi collaborate in this exhibition entitled “Our View – on making a difference”. Rashida shows black & white photographs from the Nelson Mandela 90th Birthday Celebration in Hyde Park, portraits from an ongoing project on Domestic Workers in Johannesburg, South Africa, and a special feature on ‘giving photos, not taking them’ where portraits are given to people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Featured are Ubuntu Help-Portrait, part of an international project and the Villa of Hope children at a ‘giving’ celebration in Johannesburg in November 2011. Hady exhibits colour photographs from Sport Relief in London and a look at quirky, old and new buildings in Hout Bay, London and Dubai and how they impact on society.
