All the King’s Men is a photography project and solo show by photographer Dee King; a set of 24 portraits of interesting men from a diverse range of professions, from actors, artists, directors and writers to humanitarians and Queen’s Councillors. Some of the subjects are well-known to the public such as Sir Roy Strong, former Director of NPG and V&A, and Christopher Richardson and William Burdett Coutts, both instigators of the Edinburgh Fringe. The project sets out to engage with these men who give so much to their disciplines. Through this engagement, Dee uses moments of intimacy to capture a moment of honesty in her sitters.
