Selections Announced: Annual Exhibition 2011

Congratulations to all members with work selected for the 23rd LIP Annual Exhibition. This year we had by far the largest number of prints ever submitted for the Annual - 632 prints entered from 136 members. We will hang 132 prints which is also the most prints ever hung at our Annual Exhibition. Details of what to do next will be given to you when you pick up your prints.

For those who have not had work selected this year (50% of members entering), I thank you for your efforts to submit work and hope that you are not too disheartened. The selection process is very much a subjective choice by our two external selectors - for example one print not selected last year was subsequently accepted for exhibition at the Royal Academy! I have asked the selectors to write a text explaining how they made their choices and for any advice they may give - this will be with you in a couple of weeks. I also very much encourage you to visit the exhibition and attend the private view evening Tuesday, 18th October. Invitations will follow in the next month.

Collecting Prints

You must collect your prints from the same location at which you originally delivered them, only at times indicated below.

For those with prints accepted, please remember to bring payment for hanging fees - payable by cash or cheque to 'London Independent Photography'.
