Arun Misra is a London based photographer. His work is inspired by time, space and the Cosmos, and within this vastness, human experience and perception. There are influences from abstract impressionist and conceptual art and surrealism.
After a long career in engineering and management he studied photography arts at the University of Westminster was awarded a Masters of Art degree in 2018.
His works transcend boundaries of genre or types and is therefore free of limitations. He uses natural and constructed images and visual narratives to present ideas of human life, aspiration and perception.
His recent works, Transience (2019) and My Home (2020) are edited into photo books that present ideas and concepts through engaging visual language and narratives.
Arun Misra has exhibited at several London galleries.
