Hi John,

As you know, I would be interested in participating in this group - we just need to nail down a day of the week that works. For myself, Tuesday or Wednesday evening or a couple of hours on a Sat/Sun is the best.

How is tuesday (27th) straight after work? I will look for a quiet venue around liverpool street for the initial meeting and we can then work out where is central for all interested founder members :-)

I have reserved an area in the bar from 6.15 onwards, nearest tube is Liverpool Street ( 1min walk, by the ice rink). If you get lost call me 07971460788. At the kick off meeting i would like us to decide what we want to do as a group and see how we can help each other, plus where and when to meet in the future.

This is open to all LIP members so feel free to come along.

At the last (and first!) meeting we discussed getting together next on Tuesday 24th April. I have picked a venue for the night very near to Liverpool Street tube, and close-ish to Old Street as well.

Hi folks,
It was good to see you all last week. I really enjoyed our get-together.
You may remember that I mentioned Raymond Moore, I think he is a shamefully neglected photographer.
I found this web site by someone who obviously feels the same way about him and has done an amazing amount of work to keep his work known. It is a shame that there are so few pictures to see. I have his two books. If anyone wants a look let me know and I can bring them to the next meeting.

Were you aware that Janet Hall our co founder knew Ray Moore, wrote a major thesis about him which is recognized as definitive and had some of his pictures? I don't know if the thesis is still available but you could always contact Virginia who would probably know.

Thanks for the comment about Ray Moore. As it happens I attended a workshop with him at Paul Hill's place in 1981. Janet Hall was there too. I think it was the first time she met him.
I'm afraid I didn't keep in touch with her after that. Who is Virginia?

I mentioned at the last meeting that I'd have some work in Digital Photographer, I'm on pages 36-37 and apperently I'm offering expert advice...

Hi Barry,

Congratulation on Digital Photographer, maybe bring a copy along to the next meeting.

With regard to the market, it was great fun to do and lots learnt. We tried Spitalfields but unless you are able to get the right pitch it is tough to sell. Both times we got placed in the windy, cold and forgotten part of the market.
