Brigitt Angst

Brigitt is a Swiss born and London based photographer and biologist. Her photography is strongly influenced by her previous occupation in biology. She often turns her lens on the natural world with a particular focus on plant life, which she exhibits in Switzerland. In 2005 she executed 'Research Zones', a project on the spaces of biomedical research for her BA(Hons) degree obtained from the University of Westminster. She maintains her interest in architectural photography, however she is currently expanding her photographic horizons into portraiture and experimental photography. She holds a PhD in Clinical Immunology from Berne University, Switzerland and is currently studying for an MA in Photography at De Montfort University in Leicester.
