Catherine Ames

I am a Swiss-American London based photographer and have been taking and developing pictures since 1976. I was shooting large format black and white landscapes until 2000, as a Californian in the school of Ansel Adams.

But for the past 10 years I've been working with digital collage and have put together a book on corner buildings around the world.

I'm now working on a project walking and photographing all the major long-distance paths in Britain.
