Katrin Nodop

As a child I watched the magic of an image to appear on a white piece of paper gently rocking in the developer bath and I was hooked for life.

Photographing for me is an act of enhanced seeing, distilling contrast in light or shapes or colours. My images range from wild beasts to colourful plant life, abstracts of nature or just beautiful sunsets. When I moved to London over ten years ago I started to take pictures of the wired and wonderful life in the street. The photographs are records of the places visited for others to enjoy and for me to remember my life's journey.
