Peter Coles

Peter is a freelance photographer and writer and, since 2006, has been Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Urban and Community Research, Goldsmiths, University of London. Having lived and worked in Paris for 20 years, much of his work is of and about that city, including a major study called 'Paris Traces'. His current work focuses on the relationship between humans and nature, especially trees. Recent awards include first prize in the 2004 Novartis/Telegraph Visions of Science Awards and Artist-in-Residence at a Studio in the Woods, New Orleans (2004).
