Robert Moye

I am interested in exploring the continuous process of change in modern cities, capturing those aspects of a city which are under threat of demolition and revealing the layers of history evident in often-overlooked street scenes.

This image is taken from my series 'Roads to Nowhere', in which I re-visited the M11 Link Road in east London ten years after its completion. Almost four hundred houses were demolished alongside the route of the new road during its construction, creating a legacy of numerous cul-de-sacs and truncated streets.
