Every member of LIP should by now have received this year’s programme of Workshops and Talks organised by our Programme Secretary, Mary Dunkin. This year the big event is our first Janet Hall Memorial Lecture when Martin Parr will be giving us an illustrated account of his career. We’ve taken the large theatre hall at the Rudolph Steiner Centre and hope that many members will come along.
Mary sends this personal message:
” I hope that everybody has found something of interest in our events diary for this year. I think that we are especially fortunate to have Magnum photographer Martin Parr giving our talk on March 20th. Its great that someone with an international reputation is coming to a relatively small organisation such as ours and it should be a stimulating evening – so have your questions ready for him! I expect it to be a sell out so do book early. Our first event, the Portfolio Review on Feb 26th, is also proving to be very popular so apply for tickets soon as it was very over subscribed last year . It’s a good chance to meet our new magazine editor, Britt and her team.”
