The next meeting of the Greenwich LIP satellite group takes place at the Viewfinder Photography Gallery on Tuesday, 18th. September between 7-9pm.

Our September meeting will be devoted solely to sharing…

…first & foremost, our own work—anything that’s recent; completed or work-in-progress; experimental; something that doesn’t quite work but you don’t know why; something that you’re trying for the first time (camera, film, location, subject…); your first stuff that you’re ready to share; the early stages of a new idea.

Essentially, your photography that you’d like the group to see & get a response to. Be assured that the response will be supportive & encouraging.

Never shared with a group before? Nor had I until did. Result: fresh breath confidence, translucent skin, mornings when the sun always shines.

No work or not ready? How about an exhibition or gallery you’ve visited; a new book; an article; a website; a course you’ve been on.

It’s London Open House next weekend so anything you come up with from that (whatever the state or size of your prints) would be a fine contribution too.

Keiko Yamamoto’s first solo exhibition Ghosts will still be on show at the gallery & Keiko will be joining us to share her work & join in with our session. Keiko’s work was featured in the Spring 2007 edition of LIP magazine & her exhibition is here: http://www.viewfinder.org.uk/index.html
