16th October : Greenwich Satellite Group Meeting

It’s that time of the month. Again!

The next meeting of the Greenwich LIP satellite group takes place at the Viewfinder Photography Gallery Tuesday, 16th October from 7 to 9 pm.

We’re staying with the ‘sharing’ theme again this month.

If you’ve never shown your work to others then doing so can be a scary occasion with all the doubts about how it might be received growing by the minute. Saying “It’s going to be OK” doesn’t make the feeling go away. BUT…we have a very supportive, sympathetic & encouraging group & whatever you feel they’ve felt too & they can still stand & walk!

If you’ve shown your work at every meeting in London don’t get to thinking that we’ve seen enough.

If all you’ve got is yesterday morning’s shot out of the bathroom window think of it as social documentary & bring it along.

Sadiq Ahamad will have some work from his Africa Project & Marysia Lachowicz will be sharing her current projects.

You can share an exhibition you’ve been to, a book you’ve bought, a problem encountered, a pressing problem, a joy experienced. Haven’t been for a while? Come & see how the place has changed. It’s also a fine thing to come & simply share the company! Bringing a friend is encouraged.

Here’s Viewfinder’s new exhibition and a location map.
