We heard with regret and sadness of the death of LIP member Gordon Raisin on 11th October 2010. Gordon died peacefully after a lengthy illness suffering from Parkinson’s Disease. He remained a member of LIP in spite of prolonged hospitalisation and his forced inability to practise the black and white photography he loved.
Gordon was a long time member of LIP and all who met him were struck by his kind and gentlemanly manner. In the early years he was a very frequent participant at our workshops and other events and contributed from time to time to our magazine.
