Our last meeting kicked off with a very lively discussion about LIP’s latest consultation document where members were urged to give their views on how they would like LIP to develop and improve over the coming years. There were plenty of helpful suggestions and comments about workshops, fLIP, the annual exhibition and general communications. When the consultation involving all the satellite groups is completed, the findings will be reported back and members will be informed of developments.

A selection of recent work by members was also shown including amongst others Barbara Luckhurst’s project about students and teachers in Tanzania, a slideshow of Milly-Anne Vinogradoff’s work on the theme of women, image and identity, currently showing at Photofusion’s exhibition Inside Out and Angelika Berndt’s documentation of the home life of the people of north-east Brazil.
