Small, informal groups meet around once a month. The structure, content, times, dates and frequency of meetings are all determined independently by each group for itself. Meetings may include guest presenters, reviews, exhibition planning, anything of interest to the group, but the core is supportive critique.
When joining LIP there is no need to choose the satellite group nearest home or work; the groups vary widely in character so we advise trying more than one to see which best suits you. Before attending for the first time we advise making contact with the group convenor. Contact details are given on this page.
We hope to increase the number of satellite groups both to accommodate growing membership and to cater for a wide range of interests and approaches. Any member wanting to start a new group whether generalist or topic-based (see Active Satellite Groups opposite) should first discuss with a current group convenor and then contact either:
