We spent an enjoyable sunny Saturday afternoon at the Festival Hall discussing our current projects and sharing work. I also discovered that the bar sells ‘Meantime’ Pilsner hic. We held our second meeting on Saturday the 12th of March in the bar of the Festival Hall. Small informal groups meet approximately once a month to discuss each others’ work, plan exhibitions or talk about anything of mutual interest. The structure, content, times, dates, and frequency of the meetings are left to the individual groups to decide for themselves. You are very welcome to phone a coordinator and go to one or two meetings to see whether you enjoy them. Many people find them to be useful sounding boards for developing their own work. You do not necessarily have to choose a group near your home – any member can participate in any group.
