LIP 32nd Annual Exhibition

June Update

The 32nd Annual Exhibition has been postponed until Autumn 2021. The open call to all members “LIP Chronicles: Life Under Lockdown” will go ahead.

For the month of November 2020 there will be a selected display of members’ work responding to the following brief:
“LIP Chronicles: Life under Lockdown”.

It will be an inclusive exhibition. We are inviting members to submit images for consideration taken during Lockdown, as members within the community have all been affected by Lockdown, each having a unique response.

From submissions there will be a selected online exhibition of members’ work. A book will also be published of selected work to accompany the exhibition. Submissions are open from 13 July until midnight the 14 August 2020. Each member will be able to submit up to 5 images and from those each member would have at least 1 with a maximum of 3 images exhibited and included in the publication. We will also be asking each member to submit an artist statement to accompany the image(s).

There will be an entry fee to submit your images to “LIP Chronicles: Life Under Lockdown”, this will entitle each submitting member a copy of the published book of the exhibited work. Complete Terms & Conditions to follow shortly.

Each member can submit up to 5 (single images, a series or a combination of both) high resolution files of which at least 1 with a maximum of 3 will be chosen for the online exhibition and inclusion in the book. These images must have been taken during the UK Lockdown for Covid-19; dates from 23 March up until and including 14 August 2020 at midnight.
