Oops obviously didn't tick the necessary box in my first attempt! My message read:
I started, or attempted to start, using Aperture this week by simply working with the sample images provided (I have not downloaded any of my own work as yet), and found that my Adjustments Panel is 'disabled" and that therefore I can go no further for now. Does any one know how I can remedy this please.
Many thanks
Chris

Hi Chris,
I am not a big Aperture user, I use it just as a vault. I looked at my adjustmnents panel and it was also greyed out. I loaded an image into the preview and then clicked on the red eye button Just under the large image view and it changed to all adjustments available. Does this help

Hi Graeme - thank you very much for taking the trouble to reply to my plea for help - appreciate it.
I have now sorted out the problem by doing as somebody else suggested i.e. press the 'p' key - and hey presto all is restored! Simple when you know how!
Chris
