Hi Tom I don't really have a direct answer for you, but perhaps you could stop into Calumet or Jacobs to see about tripods if you haven't already done so.. I tried searching Google really quickly and just came up with this toolkit advice (with nothing about the vice grip tripod, sorry!) but there might be some interesting tip/s here: # Good luck Tiffany
