Here are just a few examples of the work shown during our architecture-themed meeting last month. Peter Luck gave a brief, informative talk with examples of different types of architectural photography, demonstrating how often the portrayal of buildings are manipulated and idealised by the architectural press to promote a particular, glamorous lifestyle rather than referencing how they are used, how they age, how they fit in with existing architecture. A very interesting evening indeed…..
