We got off to a great start with our first meeting of the New Year in which a review of the past year’s work attracted a wide audience. The session yielded a very diverse selection of images, ranging from single images, series, project work, video and books in a variety of genres – street, topographic, still life, landscape and portraits. It was good to see some new faces and their contributions were warmly received. The general feedback was encouraging and we are all now ready to go ahead with plans for the coming year……

Our next meeting will take place on Wednesday 18th February 2015 at 18.45 at the usual venue – The Artworkers Guild, 6 Queens Square, Bloomsbury, London WC1N 3AT. There will be no fixed topic this month as we will be using some of the time to discuss the forthcoming year’s programme and annual exhibition so we would welcome any ideas, suggestions or requests that you may have. In the remaining time, we propose a discussion of any photography-related topic of interest- eg. a book, image or particular exhibition which has inspired you, and of course please bring along any work you wish to share. Prints or digital images on a memory stick please.
