Our first topic of discussion was feedback on our latest exhibition and the general feeling was that the event itself was a great success but the venue saw little foot traffic during the exhibition.

Besides showing some of my Australia pictures, I also presented to the group some of the pictures I took on a photography workshop I attended – 4 days in Northumberland. Although expensive I still felt it was well worth it – I met some nice people, the course tutors were excellent (and very patient) and the trip was well planned, taking in some beautiful places. Finally, we came to our theme of the month – ‘food’ – and as usual everyone excelled themselves such as in the three interpretations above. Our theme for next month, courtesy of Leonard, is ‘Height’ and our meeting will be on Wednesday 20th May. Contact me for further details. – Andrew
