Our subject, ‘Inspired By’, produced a fascinating array of different sources of inspiration. And it also gave us an insight into the processes different photographers followed in developing their work from the initial source. The result was always a distinctive individual creation, even when another’s work had provided the starting point.

Sources of inspiration and influence included Roni Horn, Shirley Baker, Berenice Abbott, Gabriele Basilico, Jane Bown, John Davies, Gainsborough and Rothko!
