The LIP Barnes satellite group convened at the end of September with the theme of ‘Best of Barnes’ in preparation for the exhibition we have planned for December titled Arcadia. Members of the group presented a range of images that at times had us gasping, such was the standard of the photography.

Amongst our favourites from the evening was one inspiring image by Paul Rawkins (perhaps the most consistent contributor in the group) of Barnes’ most significant building, reflected in the pond:

The quality Alastair Wilson-Clarke’s work was exemplified by another trademark image of a frosty Barnes common:

Our resident artist, Andrew Rapley, again astounded us with an amazing shot of Barnes bridge. All-in-all, an enjoyable evening sharing pics. The next meeting of of the group is scheduled for Thursday 26th October.
