The Crossing Lines group met via Zoom on 2 June 2021, the meeting hosted partly by Anthony Palmer and, from half-time, by Sabes Sugunasabesan. Fifteen people took part.

The meeting began with Sabes showing his images from the first period of the Swanscombe Project. Their careful examination of the ground surface both added to our appreciation of the landscape and reflected his personal feelings dominant at the time.

After a brief interval Mike Seaborne showed images also from the first period of the Project . Discussion took up both the motivation of the Project and the interaction of this with the personal expressions of the participants. The balance between project intentions and individual expressions in a group project is a matter we will probably return to. (We have been there a few times in the past.)

There will be no meeting of the group in July but there will be an introductory group walk across the Swanscombe peninsula on the 10 July for people wanting to join the project for the first time and as a reminder for those returning to it after a long absence (and there have been some significant changes).

Further info on the Project will be published and full details of times and travel to Swanscombe will be given to those who let us know that they intend joining us on the walk. Peter Luck
