There was no July meeting of the Crossing Lines group and there won’t be one in August either but we did take a walk on the Swanscombe marshes on Saturday 10 July and if there is enough interest may do so again on the 31 July.

The walk was an introduction (or reminder for those who had been a part of the 2013-2015 Swanscombe project) to the marsh, its history, the threats to it and some of its photo poential. Despite a poor forecast, intermittent rain and a very boggy but essential path the walk proved enjoyable and a few decisions were made over lunch at the end. The renewed Swanscombe Project is now up and running.
