The May session was devoted to one project from Orly Zailer, her re-creation of ‘Susan Lipsky’s Photo Album’. Susan Lipsky was a fictional creation of the late artist Meir Agassi. Orly had used existing found photographs, modified by AI techniques to create the images imagined and described by Agassi. Following Orly’s presentation there was a probing discussion of AI techniques, new to many of us. These photographs have been part of a Meir Agassi retrospective exhibition in Ein Harod, Israel.

The next meeting by Zoom on Wednesday 5 June will be devoted to excavations on Scottish islands from Austin Guest and foreshore finds from Michael Thomas.
