Reflections on Banksy.   Carol shared various images of the Banksy work recently installed in Woolwich, and the way that the viewer’s perception of the work was affected by the various environmental changes around it: the removal of the car and the almost instant graffiti addition and then how the work is further affected by the protective cover.

Looking over my shoulder.   I showed a selection of images from my archive some of which I could remember or reconstruct why I had taken them and others which apparently left little impact at the time and so I was looking at them as a viewer with implications for the idea of wherein lies the meaning of a photograph,

Matchstick people.   Ian also showed a variety of images particularly around a project he’s embarking on around the notion of matchstick people.

Urban geometry.   Aaron’s work lead to a discussion of the photography of, mainly, buildings in an urban setting and how the position and angle of the photographer affected the image.
