The July meeting of the Crossing Lines group concentrated on street portraiture and documentary with Sukhy Hullait showing his long term project, All The Rage.
In his presentation, Sukhy shared with the group his considerable experience of working on portraiture projects and his ideas around community engagement and informed consent. He talked about having lived in the neighbouring London suburbs of Peckham & East Dulwich for most of his adult life and the motivations for his long term project, All The Rage. While showing several photographs Sukhy told the stories behind them and generously shared insights into his working methods.
Crossing Lines is now on a summer break and will return in September by returning to the topic of the Swanscombe Marshes and the nature photography of Kelly-Ann McGuinness.
