The following positions on the Committee are vacant: – Chair The holder of the following positions on the Committee have expressed their • Satellite Group Liaison Officer. The fLIP Magazine Editor will be stepping down after publishing the spring 2020 issue, with her position becoming vacant then. This is also a committee position. On behalf of the whole committee, I would like to offer my sincere thanks to these committee members, for their hard work in keeping LIP working. I would also like to wish them the best for the future. All other members of the committee will be standing for re-elections. All the positions on the committee are for election or re-election. This is an opportunity for all other members to step forward for election to serve your organisation. Sitting on the committee allows members a chance to share in the decision making for the current and future running and development of LIP. We urgently need to fill these positions at the AGM. To be formally elected you need to have already submitted your name with two proposers but if you missed the deadline for that the committee would still welcome you coming forward for consideration for any unfilled roles. The committee has the discretion to co-opt anyone who has come forward if they feel they are suitable.LIP is facing new challenges and needs your expertise for a bright future. We look forward to seeing you all at the AGM and Members’ Day on 18 January 2020. |
