    Christiane Monarchi : The Next Photographic Idea

    LIP will hold the first in the new series of Janet Hall Memorial Lectures since
2019. The keynote Speaker is Christiane Monarchi.
Christiane is an editor, writer, lecturer, mentor and frequent reviewer and jury
member; founding editor of Photomonitor and currently founding co-editor of
Hapax Magazine, a biannual print publication commissioning new photographic
ideas since 2021. The lecture series is a tribute to the memory of Janet Hall, a
driving force in establishing LIP in 1987. Previous speakers have included 
Martin Parr, Roger Ballen, Tom Hunter and Laura Pannack.
    The Memorial Lecture is organised by LIP Curator Events and Talks, Jacqueline
 Ennis-Cole with the support of the LIP Committee.

    Doors open from 18:00. Lecture 18:30 to 20:00

    Wine and soft drinks will be provided by the LIP Committee to enable a brief social after the lecture.
    The event will finish at 8.30pm.
