MA Photography Shows at London College of Communication
Alan Larsen will be showing his major project for the MA Photojournalism & Documentary Photography.
Alan is showing 12 prints from his series Time Flows: the Thames – a London portrait. A book of the complete series will also be on show. The project documents the south bank of the river taking photographs at 500 metre intervals between London Bridge and the Thames Barrier. Pairing images of the landscape with images of the river creates a dialogue between contemporary and historical activity. A portrait emerges of a river and its environment: a product of the past, seen from the perspective of the present.
Runs: 7 – 10 November 2025
Open: Friday 7 & Monday 10: 2pm to 8pm; Saturday 8: 10am to 5pm; Sunday 9 closed.
