I\u2019ll bring a selection of zines, spanning 50 years, from my zine archive to inspire you!<br \/>\nWe will look at different approaches to layout and zine form. <\/p>\n<p>During the session we\u2019ll experiment with cutting, layering and collage, to create limited edition, handmade zines that could also be thought of as handmade artist books.<br \/>\nWe\u2019ll take inspiration from Fiona Rogers\u2019 new book Cut Out, Justin Kirkland\u2019s SCUMB Manifesto, The Rose, and other collage artists. (See link below).<\/p>\n<p>Photofusion has generously offered to supply scissors, paper, coloured paper, glue and bone folders.<br \/>\n(If you have cutting mats and book making tools, you may want to byo).<\/p>\n<p>Please bring 10\u201320 images you wish to work with. (Note: A5 is the typical size for a zine page). These can be colour or black &#038; white photographs, cyanotypes, family or found photographs, or images from a project you\u2019re working on. You can also bring text and magazines.<br \/>\nIf you can\u2019t print out your images, you can email them (maximum eight A4 pages), to <a href=\"mailto:info@photofusion.org\">info@photofusion.org<\/a> and they will do A4 laser jet prints for you. Please do this before Saturday, and you need to mark them \u2018FAO Liz, prints for LIP workshop\u2019. <\/p>\n<p>Places are limited, so please <a href=\"mailto:\/\/heloiseb@yahoo.com\">RSVP<\/a> to let me know if you\u2019d like to come.
