Amin Nazari’s project Anxious Frames

Amin Nazari’s project Anxious Frames has been selected as one of the Top 3 projects in the Member category of the RPS Documentary Photography Awards 2025.

Organised by the Royal Photographic Society’s Documentary Group, this biennial award has been running since 2012 and showcases exceptional documentary work and visual storytelling across three categories: Open, Student, and RPS Members.

Selected projects, including Anxious Frames, will be featured in the UK touring exhibition in 2026, and will also have opportunities for publication in The Decisive Moment and The RPS Journal.

In addition, selected photographers will be invited to present their work as part of the RPS Engagement Talk series, and development support and/or membership will be offered to selected projects.

Anxious Frames emerged from a personal crisis during the COVID pandemic, documenting moments in which fear and courage, life and death, and individuality and community intersected — ultimately guiding Amin toward a more profound and human understanding of lived experience.
